Prior to real estate, Danny was responsible for acquiring corporate sponsorships with the Athletic Department at DePaul University. He diligently prospected to develop new corporate accounts for the institution. In addition he worked with the marketing department where he created, designed and published DePaul Athletics marketing material for the entire student body, university officials and community.

While at DePaul, he was also the News and Speakers Bureau Coordinator in the Office of Public Relations where he was solely responsible for communicating the top headlines of the day amongst the university. His role was to evaluate all relevant news stories and create a daily digest that was disseminated to the Joint Counsel, which included the Chancellor, President and Vice Presidents. This was a very important task seeing as selective media headlines are extremely important in the public relations field.

My fiance and I were very fortunate to be referred to Danny by a family member. Danny and his assistant, Deby were really on top of things from both the selling and buying perspective. They were easy to contact and followed up right away with any new information on new properties or negotiations.
Not only did Danny have extensive knowledge about the areas in the north shore where we were looking, he also had a lot of background knowledge on building structures, the quality of a renovation, and what potential problems to expect. His advice in these areas highly influenced our decisions on which house to put offers on, and which houses we should walk away from.

My husband and I recently bought our first home, a two bed, two bath condo in Chicago. As first time home-buyers, we were pretty clueless about the whole process. Danny was very patient with us, explained everything very clearly, and asked important questions at each of the showings. His responsiveness was unbeatable; we would send him an e-mail at any time of the day and would have a response in less than 10 minutes. He always answered his phone, even at very odd hours. Throughout the process, Danny wanted to make sure we got into a place that was the perfect fit for us. We are now in our new home and couldn't be happier. Danny is an outstanding agent and I only have positive things to say about the experience. He was very professional and affable. Being new to the city, I was very impressed by his knowledge of all the Chicago neighborhoods and sensitivity to my particular preferences. In relatively short order, he found me an apartment that fit my needs and was in the location I wanted. Danny was also a great negotiator on my behalf. He was able to secure me the apartment $300 below asking price. I really couldn't have asked for a better agent and am so happy I found him.

Last year, when I decided to sell my house that I have lived in for over 50 years, I contacted a very prominent and successful North Shore real estate agent. She recommended that I list my house for just under $400,000. Quite frankly, I was not only shocked but also very hurt. I decided not to use her, and found Danny Lewis instead. Danny listened to me about what that house meant to me and put it on the market for a price I was much more comfortable with. I realized that while the other agent was just interested in SELLING MY HOUSE, Danny was more interested in ME, in my feelings and what I felt the house was worth. He found a wonderful young couple who was willing to pay almost $20,000 more than what the other agent wanted to LIST it for! Now I feel good about the sale. Danny worked hard for ME, is a good people person and got me what I wanted.

I went to Trulia.com and asked how I could find a real estate agent in Chicago since I live in Wisconsin and Danny Lewis responded. He said he would be happy to help us sell my mother's condo. He was a nice person. He checked the market and suggested a price, which was more than we expected to get. The condo was not in the best condition. But Danny made suggestions and gave me referrals for some maintenance and cleaning. These people were trustworthy and did their jobs well. He also saved me the trips back and forth to Chicago. He served us well. We received asking price within 24 hours of the condo being listed. He is highly recommended by me!

After using three different real estate agents over the past year and a half, I hired Danny in the middle of winter to sell my townhouse in Lincoln Park. He worked tirelessly to make the place look attractive to buyers. He came up with several great ideas to spruce the place up and held open houses every weekend, despite the cold weather.

Danny really knows how to network and to get other agents excited and talking about my property. I was confident that Danny had my best interests at heart. He really went that extra mile to get my place sold and negotiated very well with the buyers. I would highly recommend Danny Lewis, as he is a superb agent.
