JJ Gorena II started working in real estate full time in 2004 and created the Trey Group in 2005. The group was created to be a real estate team and is deeply rooted in family tradition. JJ’s father was a broker for over 20 years and left him with an empire to grow and maintain. The Trey Group is named after JJ’s son who received the nickname “Trey” as he is the third to carry his father’s name.

Bobby Cortez was an entrepreneur who owned multiple businesses in his early twenties and in 2005 gave it all up to start working in real estate. Bobby was one of JJ’s fiercest competitors from the start, so JJ did what any smart business man would do and brought Bobby on board to be a partner of The Trey Group in 2008. JJ and Bobby were, and still are, among the youngest agents in the real estate industry.

They then set up multiple listings to view as well as giving me a personal MLS page with homes in my price range. Bobby, my guide, was a great guy really nice and worked with our times to show us homes we were interested in each time the homes were viewable next day.

We used the Trey group in 2006 when we purchased our home. Bobby showed us many house always making us feel comfortable and not under pressure to settle. I will only use the Trey group in the future because they are knowledgable and willing to work for the client so that we as clients are getting what we want and are looking for wheather it be in a new custom home or previously owned home. The Trey group is intersted in making the situation as seemless as possible and by far is the best.

JJ got me in his office right away to get me pre-qualified so when I did see the house I wanted we would already be ready finance wise. This process also helped me confirm the home I thought I could afford. He was very informative and has continued to keep me on his call list. Basically, depending on what is going on with the market, he keeps me informed. I have recommended his services over the years. And if I ever sell my house, I'll be calling JJ.

Bobby and his team did went above and beyond to help us find the perfect home quickly. He made himself available to our schedule which was very important to a military member on a time limited house hunting trip. We actually started out with another agent who was unable to work with our time constraints but Bobby and the Trey Group worked tirelessly to get us exactly the home we were looking in the time we needed. I actually contacted The Trey Group while being stationed in Japan. We knew nothing about San Antonio or the area. Bobby went out of his way emailing photos and telling us about the areas. He did more than all the other realtors that I contacted. The other companies are below par in my book. We have been here for three years now and we have purchased our third property from them. We had our house on the market for just about a year. The "other guys" couldn't get it sold. We called JJ and Bobby to sell our house and got it sold in less than 3 weeks...........The Trey Group is the BEST!!!! They are always so happy to help in any way they can.
